Our Mission
To bring joy, representation, and essential resources to underserved communities. We are committed to providing Santas of color, along with food, clothing, and toys, to families who cannot afford these Christmas essentials.
Representation is needed
We bring Santas of color to communities where they are non-existent, giving children the experience of knowing a Santa who looks like them.
We Spread Hope
Santas of color bring a ray of hope and reassurance to children that they are not alone. Their presence shows children that they are seen and valued, instilling a sense of belonging and possibility.

Mobile Santa Workshops
Our mobile workshop travels to underserved communities, ensuring access to the wonder of Christmas. Children and families experience the magic of Santa's Workshop, enjoy festive activities, and meet Santa himself.
Christmas Galas
We host an annual Christmas gala where families in need can receive toys, clothing, and food without any cost. This special event allows them to embrace the joy of the holiday season.
School Visits
Santas Just Like Me, Too! visits public elementary schools with a high population of minority children. By introducing Santas of color, we aim to break stereotypes and foster inclusivity, ensuring every child feels represented during the holiday season.
Santa Visits year round
Santa's visits extend beyond traditional celebrations. We also bring hope to children facing tough situations, whether it's illness, personal struggles, or challenging circumstances, brightening their spirits during difficult times.

Board of Directors
Stafford Braxton is the Founder and CEO of Santas Just Like Me. He is a Christian minister, professional photographer & educational consultant.
11 years ago, Stafford saw the need to provide Santas of Color to the minority communities in North Carolina. Since then, Santas Just Like Me has helped provided the 1st black Santa for the Durham Christmas parade, an annual staple at the Pope House Museum in Raleigh, featured several times in Our State Magazine, interviewed on NPR on their In the Marketplace segment & All Things Considered segments, a story on Good Morning America’s digital platform & many other stories and news outlets.
